(The complete plot for this South Park Episode)

The episode begins with Mr. Garrison trying to teach the students a lesson in parenting responsibility, by taking care of eggs as if they were babies.
Everyone gets a white egg from Mr. Garrison except for Token who receives a brown one and makes a shocked facial expression.
Stan is afraid that he will get paired with Wendi, his ex-girlfriend. For Stan's relief he is paired with Bebe and Wendy is assigned to Kyle.  As stan still have feeling for Wendy, the assignments cause tension among the students, as Stan starts to suspect Kyle of having his eyes on Wendy while Bebe is angry at Stan's indifference to their egg. Stan phones Kyle and asks him sarcastically if he is alright. Kyle comments that the project is stupid. Stan shouts "yeah, well so's your hat." This is shown later to have offended Kyle greatly.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Garrison, having been watching Stan, is reminded of Mr. Slave who broke up with her in a previous episode. Singing "Love, love lost long ago, it was special then, it's over now,..." Garrison attempts to take Mr. Slave back, only to learn that he is now in a relationship with Big G. Al and that they are going to get married as soon as the governor of Colorado legalizes such unions.
Mrs. Garrison dedicates herself to doing whatever she can to prevent their union from being legalized, hoping that, being unable to marry Al, Mr. Slave will then marry her. She/he will even reorganizes Stan with  Kyle and  Wendy with Bebe hoping that Stan's poor "parenting" skills will destroy the egg and provide the results the the governor of Colorado to not apply the new law.
Wendy becomes upset because Stan and Kyle now have the egg that originally belonged to her and Kyle--she has no faith in Stan as a father, and misses it as if it were her own child. The boys remain on bad terms; Stan is still suspicious about Kyle's motives with Wendy and frequently snaps at him, while Kyle is a little confused as to what has made Stan so aggressive. Meanwhile, Cartman breaks his egg and tries to ask Garrison to give his partner an A, because it was not her fault—and finally arguing that with his F, together their grades should average out to C−. However, Garrison gives Cartman a new egg. Garrison makes plans for the final egg check in front of the governor's office, and, to make sure Stan and Kyle's egg is broken when they present it, hires an assassin named Jakartha to destroy the egg. Just as Stan is boasting to Kyle over the phone about how well he has looked after the egg, Jakartha fires a bullet through Stan's window. The bullet hits the egg and blows it to pieces in Stan's hand.
Kyle comes over to Stan's house and Stan tells him to just go be with Wendy, but Kyle admits that he feared Stan's ability as a parent and so gave Stan a fake egg while he kept and saved the real one. Kyle also tells Stan that he had never had any interest in Wendy; he merely views her as a partner. The two boys reconcile and rush to the governor's office in a taxi, with Kyle calling Mrs. Garrison and telling her their egg is fine and that they are on their way. Garrison orders Jakartha to destroy the egg before it reaches the podium. Jakartha, fearing for his reputation, opens fire on the crowd to destroy the egg. Stan and Kyle rush through the crowd, narrowly avoiding Jakartha's gunfire and hidden grenades in the ground. After Jakartha detonates all the bombs, they reach the podium weary and hurt. Stan presents the intact egg to Garrison and the governor before passing out from exhaustion.
Stan presents the egg to Mrs. Garrison saying "Teacher...Our egg is...Ok..." in a hoarse voice before losing consciousness and fainting.
The governor inspects the egg and, upon seeing that it is undamaged, announces that such unions are now legal in Colorado (and of corse in South Park too).
In the end of the episode there is Mr. Slave and Big G. All  in weeding dresses with Father Maxi officiating the marriage. Randy (Stan's father) congratulates Stan and Kyle for what they have done, though they are still not sure what role they played in it.
Wendy apologizes to Stan for doubting his ability to be a parent, while implying that she wants to take him back. To her surprise and disappointment  Stan responds cold that he doesen't care  about what she thinks, which causes her to leave with a mournful and disappointed look on her face.
